Nobody had expected that. Least of all me. But, a crazy idea turned into a really, really big passion. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"mt-5\">What are my professional qualities?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>#clear #thorough #creative #opinionated #connected<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"mt-5\">What characterizes my council?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>My perspective always encompasses more than just the legal aspects: I know the workings of my clients\u2019 companies, their service\/product, I am familiar with current HR trends and always incorporate strategic and corporate cultural considerations into my advice. In essence: I do more than just discuss the relevant laws &#8211; I do it with a view to the latest HR trends with HR staff at eye level.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>I deliver tailor-made employment law solutions. Solutions that can sometimes be unconventional, but always pragmatic. My recommendation will be delivered in the preferred manner: crystal clear and blunt to be readily understood and flourished without all the legal mumbo-jumbo to impress. When I advise or argue for clients in court, one thing is clear: it is about winning, about getting the best out of it for the client. But not only the short-term legal goals, but also the medium- and long-term corporate strategic goals and the corporate culture of the client will be taken into account. Only then can council be effective and sustainable. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"mt-5\">What is my consulting approach based on?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Everything that has to do with strategic and corporate cultural challenges has always appealed to me. Add a lot of professional experience and managing the &#8220;HR Leaders Berlin&#8221; network and you get someone who is always at the cutting edge of HR.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>And of course, labour and employment law and human resources are my passion. This has always been the case and is reflected in my professional career:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p><ul class=\"no-pad\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>I studied law in my home town at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. Already during my studies, I specialized in labour and employment law and from the 2nd year onwards I worked as a research assistant in labour law at one of the leading law firms in the field of labour and employment law, H\u00fcmmerich (today &#8220;H\u00fcmmerich.legal&#8221;) for more than three years.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>In my first state examination, I was the best exam candidate in labour and employment law at state level and achieved the highest grade of 18 points, which had never ever been awarded before.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>I completed my mandatory legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal. In the second state examination, I was also one of the top exam candidates in the state in labour and employment law. During my legal clerkship, I worked in the field of employment law at the major international lawfirms LOVELLS (today &#8220;Hogan Lovells&#8221;) and Linklaters.\n<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>In 2007, I was admitted to the bar in Germany and then worked for the market-leading employment law boutique KLIEMT for almost seven years.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>In 2014, at the age of only 36, I became a partner in the international lawfirm BEITEN BURKHARDT.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>At the beginning of 2018 I joined the employment lawfirm vangard as a partner.  <\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"endlich mt-5\">And now I own my own: Studio Hinz. Claus Kleber even became a famous news anchor in German TV afterward\u2026\nI became a lawyer because, during my legal traineeship, I quickly realized that representing clients\u2019 interests suited me, and I am impressed by the dynamic and strategic aspects of advising in businesses issues.\nAnd why labour and employment law? \u2013 I already knew that from the beginning!\n<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"mt-5\">What are my professional qualities?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>#solution-oriented #precise #comprehensible #convincing<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"mt-5\">What characterizes my council?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>My passion for labour and employment law developed early in my studies, and it remains unchanged. Labour law issues are often complex and legally demanding, but always relevant to real life. In consulting, the goal is to apply legal expertise with sensitivity while finding practical solutions for clients \u2013 and to negotiate those solutions if necessary. I have trained this ability throughout my career so far, by always focusing on labour law and employment issues:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p><\/p><ul class=\"no-pad\">\n<li>I studied law at the University of Passau, where I specialized in labour law and wrote a seminar paper on employment data protection with excellent results.<\/li>\n<li>I completed my legal clerkship at the Brandenburg Higher Regional Court and in Berlin, focusing on labour and employment law in every practical station. This included working in the department of labour and collective bargaining law at the Federal Ministry of the Interior, at a law firm specializing in labour migration law, and in the Employment and Pensions department of an international law firm.<\/li>\n<li>Before and during my legal clerkship, I worked for more than two years as a research assistant at a leading labour law firm in Berlin, where I helped advise national and international companies on individual and collective labour law, as well as employment data protection issues. Internationally notable experts taught me the fundamentals of labour law consulting. Since then, I am dealing with current HR- and compliance issues facing companies and executives, and with how to find, negotiate, and implement feasible solutions.<\/li>\n<li>In 2024, I was admitted to the bar by the Berlin Bar Association and joined Studio Hinz. During my school years, my focus was particularly on mathematics\u2014identifying patterns and logical connections. I rediscovered this same logic in my legal studies: here, too, the goal is to develop precise and well-reasoned solutions based on clear legal rules.\nThe legal profession was therefore the natural choice for me. When I had to change my plans at short notice during my studies, I chose employment law. What initially seemed like an alternative soon became a passion:\nEmployment law is an interdisciplinary field that is closely connected to real life. The diversity of topics and their immediate relevance for both individuals and businesses continue to inspire me to this day. I particularly value the multifaceted nature of the field, as well as the opportunity to take different perspectives and build bridges between the parties involved.\n \n<\/p>\n\n<p>\n<\/p><ul class=\"no-pad\">\n\n<li>I studied law at Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin, specializing in individual and collective employment law. I completed the university component of my First State Examination with a thesis on the social power of trade unions.<\/li>\n\n<li>Alongside my studies, I worked for four years in the legal department of an automotive group, where employment law issues were part of my daily work.<\/li> \n\n<li>I completed my legal traineeship (Referendariat) at the Oberlandesgericht Brandenburg, including a placement in the legal department of a leading international management consultancy with a focus on employment law.<\/li> \n\n<li>I have been admitted to the bar in Berlin since summer 2025. I began my professional career in the employment law team of a regional commercial law firm. Companies are facing challenges due to digital change that require new strategies, solutions and processes. However, it is not legally possible to break new grounds with the working methods and templates of the past decades, rather new consulting approaches are required. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"pt-5\">We&nbsp;do not operate in&nbsp;the often &#8211; and rightly &#8211; lamented focus on &#8216;prohibition mode&#8217;, i.e. focusing on the problem rather than the solution. Instead, our legal attitude and actions aim to contribute to our clients&#8217; future working environment in a sustainable fashion: effectively implementing their HR and corporate strategies. Our work is not already done once we have identified and communicated legal risks.
